the studio - final day...
i hope that by sharing my studio space it has motivated you to create a little more in yours! remember, it's all about what works for you, how much room you have to do what you love, and surround yourself with the things that inspire you. i'm not going into detail on this post because i'm posting pics of the things that inspire me, things i love, and found objects from so many places. it's eclectic, it's random, but it's me - enjoy... -t!m

Thanx, for sharing your space... I always love to see what other have done with the space that they have to work in...

Thanks for sharing Tim, I love the way you mix your stuff and your decorations. My studio is everything but organized, everything is disparate.

I did the jar thing for buttons and silk flowers and some small peices of ribbon and then wondered where the heck did I get all those buttons? Did they have babies in there?

So many things...so little time! HA! Love it all, but the found objects are such a great link to the past. Great fun to get and just look at!
Thanks

Thank you for sharing the pictures from your studio with us. There is some great storageideas there! One question though: Do you find it more and more difficult to create things the more stuff you get to play with? I find myself using most of my creative time making descisions on what to play with istead of just being creative.

Thanks for the "tour", T!m, it was a thrill to see your creative space in greater detail. I saw pics on Heidi Swapp's Blog last year and loved your interview a while back in CK magazine. You deserve all the fame and fortune you are enjoying- you are too, too talented ( if there is such a thing )!
I can't get me no Grungeboard satisfaction...soon, I hope. Give Thanks, Erin

LOVE everything that you have been showing of your creative space. It is so AWESOME and it is so you. I do not have a scrap/craft room. Most of my work is done on my kitchen table or my coffee table. I do consume half of a storage room in my home, so I keep all my supplies in there. I have an old entertainment cabinet (no doors, all open spaces) that my parents gave to me. I could not stand it upright (low ceilings), but I have it sideways in the room. I have many clear plastic containers and drawers that hold all my things, lined up in all the spaces. It works GREAT for me and does not take up much space. Thanks for sharing all of your ideas and techniques. I am always very inspired by you! :-)

Thanks so much for sharing your space with us. Very inspiring. I don't think I'd want to leave the room. Love the quote written on the wall and the framed T's.
Wondering if I'll ever be fortunate enough to be able to take another class with you now that Carolina Moon has closed her doors. The two I was able to take were inspirational and loads of fun.

Thanks for sharing your studio, Tim! It is always neat to see how others do it and how they might work for us. It is also cool to see others' stashes!!!
When I click on your photos, to get a better look at the details, the photo is the same size as we see on the blog. Is there any way you could make them blow up a tad larger so that we can see more? I know, we're always asking for things from you!!!
Thanks again!!

I think you live in Heaven!
I can only dream of so much stash!
And I was already so proud of owning most of your distress inkpads!!
I really like the vintage feeling of the stuff, but the wire is too cold for me.
But hey, you're a man and I'm a woman :)
As I don't have that much space as you have, I am obliged to make catalogues of the stamps I own, because I can't put them in shelves.
I have also made a catalogue of all the ink colours I have, so I just grab my little Inkbook (scrapped of course!) and browse through my colours!
My husband has promised me my own scrappin' space :)
Your studio gives me new thinking 'bout how to organize and plan my own space.
thanks for that!!

You have some brilliant ideas Tim (but then thats why we all think you are wonderful!) I would never of thought of making my stash look arty. Mine is just dumped in bags and boxes everywhere, so tomorrow I am going to have a rethink and organise it all properly, and I will add a bit of art and a bit of fun to make it all more pleasing on the eye. Thank you so much for sharing.x
