Tim-
You are SO right that Christmas is about family and friends!
Just wanted to share with you a very special gift I received from my sister...First, a little information - both of my parents have cancer. My dad was diagnosed about a year ago - his is terminal, and we are just taking life one day at a time. My mom was recently diagnosed, and she starts her chemo today - it will be very aggressive, and we are hoping for the best. My sister's gift to each of us ( I have 3 sisters) was a video CD that is a slideshow of our family photos of our entire family - my dad and mom, all four of us girls, and the grandkids. It's photos of everything you can imagine - family vacations, baby pictures, my parents wedding, etc. It is the most touching thing I've ever seen, especially knowing that this very well may have been the last Christmas we are all together. I will cherish this gift always!!

Ahhh, the wonderfulness of getting up out of bed at 5:15am, off to the stores and shopping at 6am. Went to 4 different stores and got some great deals on stuff I didn't know I needed! I never do this so when I couldn't go back to sleep, I just got up and started the day.
This year's Christmas was the best in a very long time personally... Very blessed.
Andrea, how touching! What a thoughtful gift. Such a treasure I'm sure.
Happy Day all!

You are such a tease Tim Holtz!! Have you always been this way? I'm thinking yes. Along with everyone else I will be waiting with gleeful anticipation.
Andrea, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have three immediate family members (Dad, Brother, Sis-in-law) fighting cancer as well. I survive one minute at a time.
Love Denise (Beer?)

Good to hear you had a wonderful holiday Tim! Unfortunately, we all came down with the stomach flu, but made the most out of it anyway!
Can't wait to see what you are up to :)
