hey bloggers - got home today from my 2 week trip back east to ranger. it was a great trip and ended this past weekend with ranger u. i posted a couple of pics while i was away on day one before we got started. the 24 selected students shared 3 full days of education with myself and other ranger signature designers suze weinberg and claudine hellmuth for a full curriculum of ranger products (check out their blogs for more pics of the weekend). thanks to all of the wonderful students for our first 2009 session. many of you have asked about how to attend ranger u. it is an application process open to anyone, but please understand that it is geared for store owners, teachers, and designers who plan on teaching what they've learned. ranger gets lots of applications for each session and since it's limited to 24 seats 2 sessions per year, patience on getting in will be your best bet. visit ranger's website for more info.
so i am so excited to be able to share the following video with you. while i was there, for the first time in my 6 years of working for ranger, i was allowed to video a little behind the scenes at how some of our products are made, the crates of ranger products, and the shelves full of my favorite things - more ranger stuff of course. enjoy the video - i hope it's as fun to watch as it was to film....
also thanks to so many great comments over the weekend. as you can guess, i have a few great prizes to give away to some lucky winners at random who left a comment on my last blog post - congrats to all of you. i appreciate your sharing your excitement for ranger u too. please email me your contact info - have a great week...t!m
Everyone at Ranger ROCKS! It takes MAD SKILLS to have everything so prepared that you can blog one hour before class starts.
We are lucky to have you guys! Enjoy class . . .

oh to be a fly on the wall at Ranger U ....
no ... not that! i'd end up stuck by a glue dot to a non-stick craft sheet ... and crackle painted, glossy accented, stamped, alcohol inked or just blown away by the heating tool. THAT can ruin your day!
Thanks for blowing us away (in a good way!)
with your techniques. Looking forward to what you come up with next.

A very cool video Tim! The Distress Pads looked like they were entering onto an ice rink (only going in the European direction :-) ). Do the Ranger U students get to tour the manufacuring plant as well?
Thanks for sharing!!!

In Sweden we say: "Du lyckas med allt du företar dej!"
I don´t know how you say it over there, but, that´s the true!
Thank´s!

It was just like one of those shows on tv about how things are made only better because your name was on those things. Wonderful tour. Thanks for the peek.
