Disney World - the land where fairy tales do come true! I loved it as a kid and still love it as an adult. I remember when Walt Disney died - it felt like a much loved uncle had passed away. His memory and his dream lives on.

I have been a fan of Mickey Mouse and Disney all my life. I spent my 50th and 54th birthday along with my parents with Disney. It was wonderful. It truly brings the child out in you no matter what your age. As soon as I get close to the entrance I have the same butterfly excitement that I did as a child! I now am so lucky that I live in Florida.....only 3 hours away.

Happy birthday Disneyland! Walt Disney and his quest for perfection has never ceased to amaze me every time I'm at one of the parks. Once you've been there, nothing even comes close in comparison.
I can still remember going to Disneyworld as soon as it opened and buying the book explaining all the work it took behind the scenes to even get the place started!!!
Unbelievable....wish I still had that book!
Here's to the genius of Disney!

Difficult to believe one man could make an impact on so many people? Hardly. Find a mirror sometime today and look in it. The guy staring back at you influences lots of people himself...look how many people comment on what you do WITHOUT blog candy being offered, lol! ;) Not down playing the impact of Walt Disney, just saying that it can be on a smaller scale and still have the same effects!

Think about how many of us have been to the exact same place and maybe even the same time! Talk about a connection! Every child should have the opportunity to go there at least once! Happy Birthday Disneyland!

Happy Birthday Disneyland! What a great place!
Tim, I just have to tell you what an inspiration you are not only to me, but to my nine year old son. He loves to visit your blog and watch your tutorial videos and then try to make the projects you show. He is in awe of you. He's begging me to buy more colors of distress inks so he can experiment some more! He just may be the next Tim Holtz! LOL! Thanks so much for all the wonderful inspiration.

Thank goodness for the birth of Disneyland! I have many wonderful memories with great girlfriends there (I've even left the kidlets at home for those trips!) and brought my son for the first time about a year and a half ago. I love its magic and adore its details!

Happy Birthday to Disneyland and Happy 16th Anniversary to my beloved and I... I have never been and have a goal to make before we do go I need to have lost a few more pounds... My beloved was born in the hospital near there and grew up down in Cali. He has not been for many years... Maybe that is what we should do for our 17th Anniversary we have been trying to think of something BIG for our star anniversary 17th on the 17th...

I have a friend with 2 girls that I have sort of adopted. She is taking her girls to Disney in October but they don't know it yet. They will be so surprised. I have been collecting supplies to help them make a scrapbook when they get home and I am so excited you'd think I was the one going. I have been twice and it truely is MAGICAL.
