hey bloggers! well it's another early morning drive down to the airport to head out to maryland to teach this weekend and the queen's ink. i have to say that after 6 years of full time travel on the road, i'm used to the 2 hour drive to and from the airport each and every time. i'm lucky i'm not the one driving though so i can get things done on the road, but it's still more hours spent on the road than i would care to, but that's the trade off for not living in a big city - i wouldn't change a thing. i'm excited to see the students this weekend and looking forward to the store - i've been to the queen's ink before and it's an incredible place, definitely one of a kind.
thanks for the comments from yesterday's post - lots of curiosity for this new project so i figured i would share the pics now that the project for "curio of creativity" is finally finished, kitted, and all packed up! i'm happy with how it turned out - this project was clearly inspired by the project i did for the ten seconds studio event, but really completely different. there are so may techniques to fit into 4 hours, but it's going to be a blast! i'm also teaching 3 of my other favorite workshops from this year: "patchwork pandemonium", "idea-ology intrigue", and "nostalgic metal memoirs" - it's definitely going to be a fun weekend...t!m

These project are sick! I wish that you make them into kits and sell them. I love them, they are my absolute favorite. I going to have to try and recreate these projects.
You totally blow my mind,
Christine

Please don't tell 10 Seconds, but I think I like the curio without the metal better ! It's more focused... That being said, I like the book, it's focused, too, but on metal ! Does that make any sense?

Very cool classes. I often have trouble trying to figure out how to transform several techniques into a single cohesive project to teach. Excellent inspiration!

Wow! These are all wonderful! I am loving that necklace! I need to start making some of that more steampunk looking kind of stuff. I love it and it is so much fun to create!

What a great project! You use so many hard-to-find goodies, but that's what makes the projects unique.
