hey there bloggers! greetings from canada... i am here teaching at my good friend ludmilla's store scrapbook quebec for the weekend. i met ludi during my first trip to paris when she ended up translating my demo for the entire weekend (even though she was there to demo her own product line) she just stayed with me since nobody could understand anything i was doing. it was truly genuine kindness, and the rest as they say - is history... so here i am, teaching at this incredible store in canada, with an amazing staff, and very talented students making some beautiful projects...
of course our trip actually getting here wasn't so easy... after leaving arizona yesterday morning at 3:30am, flying to philly to connect to montreal, a 6 hour layover due to delayed flights which ended up being canceled altogether, finally re-booking another flight to get into montreal at 11:00pm last night. by the time we got our luggage, cleared customs, we got to the store by midnight. we still had 2 hours worth of unpacking and set up to get done to be ready for classes this morning. all that effort was worth it! even with just a few hours of sleep this morning's agenda was easily predictable...starbucks! when we arrived we were blown away by this - cafe' starbucks coffee (so cool)...
so here are a few pics of the projects we're doing this weekend - what a way to celebrate don't you think? have a great weekend everyone and remember to take time and do something creative to celebrate for yourself...t!m

Beautiful projects, Tim! Looks like a fun store and a great way to spend the weekend -- except for the travel problems, of course! :)

what fun you're having! Love the grunge roses- I'm guessing that's made with the tattered flowers die.

Those projects look amazing !!! I so wish there were stores here like that who would carry all those products, but sadly, it's hard to get stuff here, unless u order online. Well, enjoy Canada, get home safe. Can't wait til you have a moment to breathe and show a little video !!

Have fun in Canada - Montreal is a wonderful city. And I'm sure everyone there is excited about the Canadiens being in the Stanley Cup playoffs! (Maybe you could come up with a hockey-themed tag???)
