fun while it lasted...

hi bloggers!  well they say all good things must eventually come to an end, but quite honestly i never expected it to end this soon...however i have decided i can no longer maintain a design team.  who knew running a design team would require so much time?  i certainly didn't.  with my insane travel schedule and never ending deadlines, i've struggled since day one, to keep up with my team of amazingly talented designers!  i want to say a sincere and very grateful thank you to all 10 of them for doing such an outstanding job sharing their artful skills in projects on their blogs.  i am very proud of the variety of projects, techniques, and creativity each one of them have brought to the team.  i hope you will continue to visit their blogs regularly as no doubt they will continue to share their imagination with all of you (their links are now listed under blogs & stuff).  i wanted to post my favorite project from each one of them, and i'm sure you'll see why their creative versatility was so inspiring to me.

dina wakley: with a unique look and style all her own, dina sure brought color to the team.  i loved this project because of it's whimsy, drippy, and colorfully grunged goodness...

 

 

 

 

 

irene tan: the layering queen in my opinion.  irene infuses so many layers, textures, and design into each creation and this project was no exception.  wait until you see the details...

 

 

 

karen grunberg: karen's style is such a great mix for the team.  her simplistic approach and quirky use of fonts and design elements was why karen was a perfect fit for the team...

 

 

 

lin brown: it's all in the details with lin's artistic style.  she incorporates so much skill with her metal work into each project and design she created it was amazing.  just wait until you see the rest of her creations...

 

 

linda cain: linda has no problem pushing the limits of each product she get in her hands.  i loved the innovative approach she had for each project she created...

 

 

 

may flaum: may was my little "inventor" on the team.  no matter what product she was given, her use of it was so unconventional and refreshing!  pure eclectic innovation - i loved it.  she even challenged my out of the box thinking and that's pretty hard to do...

 

renee hull : even though renee was nervous about being on the team, she had very clever ideas to share and nothing to be nervous about at all.  her use of idea-ology for jewelry was one of my favorites - and talk about organized?...

 

tammy tutterow: i must be honest when i say that she surprised me the most.  i often referred to her as "tammy tutorial" (which she never knew until now) because she certainly loves sharing her artful discoveries in great detail.  i never knew what tammy was going to create, and i have to say i was blown away each and every time...

virginia tillery: virginia's style was so refreshing to me.  i anxiously awaited each project to see how she could make something so "tim" become something so "virginia".  her work taught me that it's all about perspective and i loved that...

 

 

wendy vecchi: well it's no surprise i'm a fan of everything wendy vecchi.  her approach to distress and grunge is so unique, and the ideas she has to share is what will have you become a fan too...

WOW...is all I can really say. I have been following some of these gals because I thought they were uberly talented. I NEVER knew they were on a "Tim" design team. I will continue to follow them with much more "awe" now!! Thanks Tim and to all the "team".
