it's the weekend bloggers and i'm happy to be home, unpacked, and ready to enjoy it! i want to send a very sincere thank you to all of you for your blog comments, tweets, and emails about the launch of district market. i can honestly say i was overwhelmed by the unconditional support and excitement from everyone! the stationery show was a hit for district market, and of course being in new york made it even better. the booth looked amazing and the reaction from many people at the show was very positive...
i couldn't have done this without the help from my friends mario, rana, and tracey who braved the daily rain and worked tirelessly to help get the booth set-up and worked the show. the 9 hour show days were long, but that certainly didn't stop us from hitting the city streets each night to make our way to times square. there's seriously nothing like it in the world! the lights, the people, the shopping, and most definitely the food...
it seemed we had this addiction to our favorite hang out - juniors! this nostalgic diner had the most incredible food, atmosphere and cheesecake. truly the best cheesecake i have ever had in my life. we honestly talked about what we were going to order for dinner at juniors just about each day of the show. we broke it up with a couple of italian dinner nights, but juniors was definitely the group fave. then of course there was the pizza. funny how we didn't consider the daily stops for a slice of pizza a meal choice in any way. it was simply one of those "on the way to dinner let's stop for a quick slice". seriously, these amazing slices of pizza right on the corner by our hotel were only $1 and we couldn't seem to stop ourselves - especially mario...
i just want to say thanks once again for sharing this dream with me, i'm truly humbled by it all. i have big plans for district market and look forward to sharing all of the ideas with you once it hits the shelves. i agree - september can't get here fast enough. now i can come down from my cloud and get busy making samples for cha since it's just a couple of months away. just wait until you see what i've created for you this time! enjoy the weekend...t!m

I can't wait to see what your cha samples.
But for me it's bring on September!

The District Market goodies look amazing - hope they get to the UK pretty quick once they are released in Sept. Oh and new stuff for CHA...think I'd better start talking nicely to the bank manager - more pennies needed.
