hey there bloggers! i'm excited to share a video i did using the new distress stains from ranger. i have to say i love using these stains, they are so cool. i get asked many questions about what makes them different from distress ink pads, or even the distress re-inkers? well hopefully this video will answer those questions and more. i've also posted a f close-up pics of some of the techniques i show - so it's time to get a little inky. leave a comment and share your favorite thing about distress stains, i'm just sayin'...t!m

Favorite thing would have to be the possibilities! Dying ribbon and stamping with Distress Stains are high on my enjoyment list :)

I absolutely love DS - they seem to end up on every project! I have played with them lots but it's fabulous to have watched a video which shows me that's there's so much more I could be doing with them! Loved the marbling! Thanks Tim (and Mario!) as always for your inspiration!

Corrrrr... I can't honestly pick just one thing I love about the Stains... cos they are just perfect! I love the way they can be mixed with a light colour paint to make custom colour paints, the way they mix together and don't go muddy, the way that I can colour up trims and bindings, the way I can cover a whole 12" square sheet in about 3 seconds flat... the cute little bottles, perfect size for inky paws... oh and the Picket Fence! Oh lala! I am in heaven with that one! Oh and finally... the fact that I have a Distress Pad AND a Distress Stain in each colour... yum!! Thank you for sharing the video... and the photo of those coloured trims has me all a-drooling!

Love the effect of putting water first and then distress stain on a tag, so cool!
And the trimmings, soooo much fun, i have a whole bunch of ribbons and lace, i want to color now, great tip!
Stamping an image with distress stain, using different colours and then using a water pen...?? That is just...don;t know what to say..too much fun????
