that's right bloggers, i've said it many times...when i need to be inspired, or feeling a bit overwhelmed, when all else fails i think reorganizing or re-decorating is key to get me back on track. when i got home from amsterdam i had so much to get caught up on, get unpacked, meetings, deadlines, and that's just been in the last 48 hours. when i got home my latest ebay purchase was waiting for me...a very cool, very grungy, very vintage torso mannequin. so i spent a couple of hours last night rearranging my studio space to make room for this latest treasure (and yes, my creepy little doll still has a home). i don't know what it is about shuffling things around, but it definitely recharges my creative soul and gets me back on track - crazy huh. this weekend i have so many ideas for some new projects to work and share next week. hope you have a creative weekend - so what do you do to find inspiration???...t!m

I do the same! I find that going through all of the bits and pieces that get shoved hastily into any open space over time helps me to find things I forgot that I'd ever purchased. And seeing it all over again usually leads to a few "Hey! That'd go so well with that paper over there..."

If I clean up my Studio and put things away, I find I can tackle a new project. Something about a cluttered work surface sends me into a Stop sign mode.
