this is all so exciting isn't it bloggers? to see all of these new things just makes my head continue to spin with ideas. it's definitely a sample making frenzy around the studio and my vagabond is working almost non-stop! this next batch of releases from my sizzix alterations line will be shipping in march and includes some fun dimensional dies along with one that i've been wanting since i first launched alterations...t!m
and here it is...this is my dream die that i've wanted from the very beginning. "word play" is ONE bigz xl alphabet and number die that is steel rule which will allows you to cut grunge, chipboard, fabric, you name it. the best part is everything is on one die and cuts out an approx. 1" font...

next are some dimensional dies - "in the bag" creates a mini gusseted bag perfect to fit in a few ATC's or photos. the "matchbook set" will cut and score two mini matchbooks allowing you to make some fun mini books with tickets, instax mini photos, and more. of course this "mini pocket envelope" will be so functional to tuck in ATC's, photos, and travel ephemera. since these are all movers & shapers base dies, you can cut out any of the cool mini mover shapes inside them for a total custom creation...

it's no surprise i love tags and since i already have the large #8 tag in the "tag & bookplate", and the small #2 tag in the "tiny tags & tabs" dies, it was only fitting to create the medium #5 tag in the new "tag & tie" die. this mover & shaper base die will be perfect for creating tags for lots of projects and i have a few ideas for that little tie in the die too...

so if you're a cardstock lover too, you'll know how versatile the decorative strip dies can be. these dies have the ability to cut with such detail since they are designed specifically for cardstock. these new one are going to get used quite a bit i think: "washers" and "harlequin" are connected designs that can be used as borders or a cool background design. my new favorite is "inside out" which actually cuts 2 complete alphabets & number sets in one pass. this unique design actually cuts the solid as well as the outline so you can mix and match, nest together, using the inside out - clever huh?...

of course i have some new texture fades with some cool designs. "harlequin & stripes" are an old favorite from the original grungeboard collection, so happy to have brought this back. "bubble wrap & honeycomb" will no doubt have mixed media lovers in creative overload as this one sure creates some amazing texture...
