cha-winter 2012...idea-ology (part 2)

i really appreciate you sharing the excitement of the new releases by leaving your comments.  there's no doubt i'm excited for today's preview of the first half of the new idea-ology embellishments shipping in march too.  this collection of eclectic treasures is only the beginning...t!m

first up are the new "cash keys" which are similar to type charms, but large ovals that have cool numbers and epoxy stickers to layer.  the new "label pulls" have also been cool to use since they are small label pulls measuring 1/2" tall x 2" wide, just perfect for mini books..


something else perfect for books are these new "file tabs" which are adhesive backed metal tabs.  you get 16 tabs in a package (8 of 2 styles) and a sheet of cool icon and word stickers to layer into the recessed areas, and of course epoxy stickers to layer.  these tabs are great to paint, ink, and of course attach to just about everything...  now hold your breath when you see these new word bands.  if i could have one new favorite embellishment it would be these.  i mean they are perfect for jewelry, mixed media projects, cards, photos, you name it.  they are stamped metal so the words are recessed to fill with paint or ink to completely customize them...


okay something else i'm finding myself using on just about everything are my new "chitchat stickers".  you might think to yourself (i've seen stickers like these before)...or so you thought.  i mean if you know me, i have to put my spin on things and i certainly made these stickers to be different.  they are the ultimate crafting accessory - complete with 1088 individual stickers that are totally inkable!  yep, unlike every other coated glossy sticker out there, "chitchat" stickers are printed on matte cardstock and the same words are also printed on kraft cardstock ready to distress.  these little guys can be used to say whatever you want, however you want to, in whatever color you want...


next up are a blast from the past since i actually had these in a line i did long ago and missed them so much i had to bring them back.  "wire pins" are so functional since you can pin them through layers of stuff, and have plety of room to attach lots of findings and trinkets to them - welcome back...


finally for today i want to share a few other fun embellishments coming your way.  "gem clips" are simple paper clips with a bit of bling on the ends.  since these crystal beauties are just clear, you can of course alcohol ink them any color to match your project.  finally today we have these little "screw eyes" and if you follow mario's BTS you know we've used over 1,000 of these to prep our cha workshop.  these little things are so functional on canvas, configurations, and more to hang or connect things...

Wow! I can't decide which of these is my favorite - love the word bands, label pulls, file tabs and cash keys. Oh heck, I know I'll have to have them all anyway ;)
